Review on ‘Panchayat season 3 trailer’
As shown at the end of Season 2, Sachiv Ji had been transferred. A new Sachiv is shown in the trailer of Season 3 and then in the very next scene, Abhishek Tripathi says, ” Achha bhala resign kar raha tha, vapas aa gaya iss gaon mein”. In the trailer, we are further shown how preparations are going on for the election of Pradhan in Phulera village. The story’s famous character Bhushan was shown in the trailer taking support from MLA to win the election for the post of Pradhan. Amidst all this, some romantic angles can also be seen between Sachiv ji and Rinki.
Looking at the trailer, it seems that to make this season even more interesting, the result of Pradhan’s election may be shown as something unbelievable. Many things were shown in the trailer like some old and famous dialogues, Sachiv ji’s insistence on leaving the village, friendship, enmity, guns, fist fights, laughter, etc.
Overview of Season 1
The first season introduces Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar), an engineering graduate who, due to a lack of better job prospects, reluctantly takes up the position of Panchayat Secretary in the remote village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh. Used to city life, Abhishek initially struggles to adjust to the slow pace and quirky ways of the village. He resides in the Panchayat office, which doubles as his living quarters.
Abhishek’s interactions with the village Pradhan (head) Manju Devi (Neena Gupta), her husband Brij Bhushan Dubey (Raghubir Yadav), who acts as the de facto Pradhan, and Vikas (Chandan Roy), his assistant, form the crux of the narrative. The show humorously depicts his attempts to fit in, his plans to crack the CAT exam to escape his situation, and his growing, albeit reluctant, affection for the village and its inhabitants.
Overview of Season 2
The second season delves deeper into the lives of the characters, showcasing their evolving relationships and the challenges they face. Abhishek, now more accustomed to village life, continues his struggle to balance his job responsibilities with his CAT preparation. The season highlights more significant issues like family planning, local elections, and village politics, reflecting the complex social fabric of rural India.
Manju Devi attempts to learn her official duties as the Pradhan, while Brij Bhushan continues to navigate the intricacies of local governance. Vikas remains a loyal and supportive aide to Abhishek. The narrative expands to include various villagers, bringing more depth and humor to the story.
Overall, “Panchayat” blends comedy with a slice-of-life portrayal of rural India, offering a poignant look at the intersection of tradition and modernity.
